Raquel is a consummate professional initially trained as a print model & classical ballerina. She studied Fine Art at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She directed her focus to medical aesthetics at The International Dermal Institute (post-graduate) Los Angeles, C.A., becoming a licensed medical aesthetician/laser skin specialist in California & Massachusetts. Raquel has over fifteen years of experience in holistic healing & medical aesthetics/laser treatments. She holds certifications from The American Heart Association, (AED),
Guinot' of France, CME (Continued Medical Education) yearly credits, NYC. Laser certificates via Syneron/Cynosure & Candela Lasers. She is an Allergan consultant (Botox & Dermal fillers) in which she consults & assists in laser-lypo, & tattoo removal.
She is cosmeceutical formulator & boutique perfume designer as well.
Raquel is a published celebrity make-up artist in commercial print & film. She has worked with many national celebrities & magazines including: Bobbi Brown
(Seattle WA), Jose Eber, L.A. CA, The Knot, Seventeen, Shape, Entertainer, & Glamour Magazines, & The Blue Crush film, Honolulu, HI. She currently hosts & orchestrates fashion shows & charity events including: The Boston Ballet, Boston Casting, Boston Magazine, The Animal Rescue League of Boston, Brandies School of International Business, The Massachusetts Film Bureau, The Wang Center for the Arts, Boston Latin Academy, The Elle fund, Make a Wish, The Improper Bostonian, BCAE (Boston Center for Adult Education).
